With a high temperature of only 84 degrees Sunday, visitors to Art in the Park at Libs Park were greeted by one of the most temperate days in the event's five-year history.

"We couldn't order better weather for the day," said Kaleena Fong, executive director of the Adams County Convention and Visitors Bureau. "I think that really helped us out. You'd have to be crazy to not want to be out in the park today."

The Adams County Convention and Visitors Bureau took over the event this year from Art in the Park originators Andy and Cheryl Gentert.

Hundreds of visitors wandered among the 37 vendor booths tucked in the shade Sunday.
