EDGAR — With too much discrepancy still standing between estimated costs for the current community center design and what the city can pay, the Edgar City Council has scheduled another town hall meeting.

The council scheduled another community meeting for 7 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Edgar Fire Hall to discuss the building plan. The city already has played host to a few public informational meetings.
A bond issue to pay for a community center passed during the May 15 primary election by a vote of 115-49 (70.1 percent to 29.9 percent).
