Editor's note: This is the first of three stories profiling the three principals in the Juniata, Wallace and District 15 elementary facilities in the Adams Central district. The district has experienced many changes since the spring because of the recent closures of the Ayr and Tri-View elementary sites.
JUNIATA — Just off the main office of the elementary school here, there is a room where most of the furniture is painted blue and white.
In one corner, a bookshelf filled with pens, pencils, papers and books has a table attached creating a small desk. Another corner is filled by a large chest full of books.
The center of the room, which is the office to Juniata Elementary principal Jennifer Pohlson, is filled not with a large desk but with a table and four chairs.
"I wanted different and inviting," Pohlson said of her office.
