Editor's note: This is the second of three stories profiling the three principals in the Juniata, Wallace and District 15 elementary facilities in the Adams Central district. The district has experienced many changes since the spring because of the recent closures of the Ayr and Tri-View elementary sites.
Many of those in elementary school will say that lunch and recess are their favorite times of the day, including Allyson Bohlen.
Bohlen is starting her first year as principal of only Wallace Elementary in the Adams Central district. For the previous six years, she had served double duty as principal of both Wallace and District 15.
"It's going to be hard for me not having something to do all the time," Bohlen said in the days before the start of the new school year Tuesday.
Bohlen said she was never able to be at her best in her job because she was always divided between the two schools.
