Can city, HU & CRA share one attorney?
The city of Hastings wants to hire a full-time attorney who would represent the city, Hastings Utilities and the Community Redevelopment Authority.
Members of the Hastings City Council spent much of Tuesday’s work session discussing the cost and logistics of having a shared full-time attorney.
The attorney would be part of the 2012-13 fiscal year budget.
Currently, the city, HU and CRA each have their own attorney on retainer.
