Kenesaw cruises to 62-12 victory

KENESAW — Kenesaw's football team opened its season where it left off last year — racking up lofty scores and playing shut-down defense.

The Blue Devils broke out to a quick start and kept pouring it on, posting a 62-12 win over Pleasanton in a non-district Class D-2 contest.

Kenesaw quarterback Tyler Schnitzler opened with three rushing touchdowns for a 21-0 lead. The Blue Devils, who rang up seven more touchdowns before the night was finished, enjoyed a 41-0 halftime bulge and played the second half with a continuos clock.
