Hot temps greet fairgoers

“If it’s going to be really hot, most people don’t come out during the day,” Himmelberg said. “They come watch evening concerts and leave.”
This week is expected to bring highs of 95 today, 96 on Thursday, 97 on Friday, 99 on Saturday and Sunday, and 98 on Monday, according to Shawn Rossi, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Hastings.
