The stands were full of fans wrapped in winter wear and blankets as they cheered on the championship teams at the final day of the state softball tournament Friday afternoon.
Site co-directors Bob Moderow and Gregg Holliday said the tournament at the Smith Softball Complex has gone very well despite the gray skies.
“It’s gone awesome,” Holliday said.
