Man convicted of sex assault of child gets 30-35 years
A 41-year-old man was sentenced Monday in Adams County District Court to 30-35 years in prison for raping a 9-year-old boy last year.
Luis A. Gonzalez Hernandez also will be required to register as a sex offender for 25 years after his release from prison.
Adams County District Judge Stephen Illingworth sentenced Hernandez and gave him credit for 398 days spent in jail awaiting trial and sentencing.
On May 24, a jury convicted Hernandez of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
