Through a combination of sign language and singing, deaf and hard-of-hearing students from across Nebraska will show their passion for music at 2 p.m. today at Hastings Middle School.
“These kids are incredible,” said Andrew Fields of Gainesville, Ga. “Their drive and the emotions they give off leave me speechless when I watch them.”
Fields has worked with many children during his seven tours across the country as part of the Young Americans, a California-based performance group. The group rehearsed with the students Friday at the Hastings Middle School.
