MINDEN — After gunning down Minden Friday, unbeaten Adams Central can now set its sights for next week’s showdown with undefeated Grand Island Central Catholic.
Both teams will enter the game at Adams Central with 6-0 record.

“It will be a big-game atmosphere,” said AC coach Bill Carlin after Friday’s 35-0 victory over Minden. “ I’m sure we’ll have a big crowd at home and they will bring a big crowd. We are excited. Our kids are excited.”

The game is designated as a “Pink Out” against cancer. A fundraiser will be held in conjunction with the game with donations to cancer research.
“I think it will be a fun game. I’m sure we’ll both get after it. Probably attack each other a little differently,” Carlin said.
