Hastings College's Dru Kobs passes beyond the defense of
Graceland's Sebastian Pineda Saturday afternoon at Lloyd
Wilson Field.
Saturday was a busy day on the Hastings College campus with all of the homecoming festivities. It was just as busy for the scorekeepers and stat takers at the Hastings College men’s soccer game.
The NAIA No. 13 Broncos defeated Graceland 6-1 on Saturday at Lloyd Wilson Field. After a tough 2-1 overtime loss at Kansas Wesleyan on Thursday, Hastings College (3-3) bounced back in dominating fashion against a Graceland team that was receiving votes in last week’s top-25 poll.
"They responded welll," Bronco coach Chris Kranjc said. "That’s the sign of a good team — one that takes on adversity and bounces back and puts together a complete 90 minutes that we haven’t had yet this year.”
