HC offense holds off Briar Cliff
VERMILLION, S.D. — Hastings College defeated Briar Cliff 34-24 Saturday in a game played in the Dakotadome on the campus of the University of South Dakota.
Hastings College rushed for 243 yards on 44 carries; however, the defense gave up 474 yards of total offense to the Chargers.
“I didn’t see a whole lot from the defense to be quite honest with you,” Bronco coach Tony Harper said. “That’s not what Hastings College defense is about... We have to clean up a lot of stuff up. I saw some guys that — it was the roller coaster and we didn’t ride it very well.”
