It wasn’t flashy, but the Hastings College volleyball team did what it needed to do.
The NAIA No. 7 Broncos swept Great Plains Athletic Conference foe Concordia 25-18, 25-15, 25-16 Wednesday at Lynn Farrell Arena.
The score didn’t indicate how tight of a match it was between Hastings (14-3, 4-0 GPAC) and Concordia (5-10, 2-4).
"I’m happy with the result,” HC head coach Matt Buttermore said of Concordia. “I know they’ve taken some teams to the limit, and they’re going to continue to do that the rest of the year. So we’re happy to win in three tonight against a well-coached team.”
